ready for the riot?
Are you ready for the riot that is this interview? Good, 'cause Brendan the blind guy spoke to the man fearing nothing, DW Norton from the masters of Australian Nu-Metal, SUPERHEIST about the bands recent festival tour with 36 Crazyfists and From Crisis To Collapse Heist Fest.
“I’ve seen a lot of responses on Facebook and stuff saying it’s the best gig they’ve been to, that’s a big call, but I reckon they’re bang on!”
“these shows were special in the sense that of I really felt like it was the first tour that Superheist’s done where the crowd have really accepted the new version of what we do”
On top of that, the two spoke about the bands forthcoming album dropping like a ten-ton hammer out of nowhere, 'Sidewinder'
“I don’t really know what Nu-Metal is either, but, I just know what Superheist is and Superheist has always taken advantage of multiple genres and sounds and mixed them all up, and we’ve just taken that to the next level on this record ”
“it’s more metal, more anthemic, more hip-hop and more electro than we’ve ever been before”
Plus the bands writing style, where DW got his nickname and the mischief the band got into back in the day that left a serious WTF impression on DW!
