Secret Sounds is thrilled to announce that NY rock icons, The Strokes will play sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney, their first Australian headline dates for a decade, when they head to Australia for Splendour in the Grass in July 2022. Accompanied by The Chats and The Lazy Eyes, punters are in for one helluva show.

Armed with songs from their 20 year, six-album catalogue, The bands live set will also feature tracks from their 2021 Grammy Award winning Best Rock Album The New Abnormal. The Strokes Australian performances will come hot off the back of a whirlwind tour of headline festival slots including Corona Capital Guadalajara in Mexico, Primavera Sound Barcelona, Berlin’s Temple of Sounds, TRNSMT in Scotland and England’s Lytham Festival.
